Haesaerts for Hydrogen was created in 2021 as a dedicated company for hydrogen logistics solutions. The 100% by the Haesaerts family-owned company focuses entirely on safe, innovative, sustainable, and future-proof hydrogen logistics across Europe.

Our heritage
1960 – Haesaerts Intermodal
For 130 years Haesaerts Intermodal was founded as a family business and grew into a trusted logistics partner for the chemical industry. For over 60 years, the company has specialized in supply chains for cryogenic gases, chemical liquids, and chemical waste, offering reliable, tailor-made logistics solutions.
2019 – Altrea Logistics Group
In 2019, Haesaerts Intermodal became part of the Altrea Logistics Group. This step strengthened its European presence and enabled further growth, innovation, and collaboration across the logistics sector.
2021 – H³ Haesaerts for Hydrogen
One of the Haesaerts family's activities for decades has been and is the storage and logistics of hydrogen.
Since 2021 the technical abilities, storage and logistics activities for hydrogen have been centralised in the entity Haesaerts for Hydrogen, 100% owned by the family. The headquarters, known as H³ LUXEMBOURG s.à.r.l. are based in Livange (Grand-Duché de Luxembourg) with an affiliated office H³ BELGIUM in Meerhout (Belgium).
H³ LUXEMBOURG and H³ BELGIUM's mission is to develop storage units (ESU’s) and their logistics for green hydrogen, which is one of the key areas of focus for new zero-emission energies.
