Technical Assets & Staff

Haesaerts for Hydrogen operates with its own dedicated assets, designed for reliability, zero emissions and the highest safety standards.

Our approach is built on three core elements:

  • Safeliner Exchange Storage Unit (ESU) certified for road, rail and barge

  • Low-emission trucks, H₂ dual fuel driven

  • Well-trained staff ensuring safe and efficient operations

Safeliner Exchange Storage Unit

Our new generation of Exchange Storage Unit (ESU) is approved for road, rail, barge and storage. The agile unit holds up to 1181 kg of hydrogen in a 40” format delivering with efficiency.

Distance-controlled electro-pneumatic valves ensure smooth and safe remote operations managed by our digital Control Tower.

Haesaerts for Hydrogen also offers full-service contracts, including preventive and annual checks, periodical hydraulic tests and complete chassis maintenance.

Our special engineering is available for off-road and marine refuelling.

H₂ Dual Fuel Truck

All transports and deliveries are performed with our H₂ dual fuel truck, combining a hydrogen-powered engine with HVO diesel as backup. This innovation achieves a 93% CO₂ reduction. Next generations of dual fuel and 100% hydrogen mono fuel engines are under development.

The hydrogen-powered truck can use a mix of hydrogen and diesel in its converted engine, reducing diesel consumption and lowering CO₂ emissions.

If needed, the engine can also operate entirely on diesel. In addition to CO₂, NOx emissions are reduced by up to 70%.

Thanks to the advanced after-treatment system in modern diesel engines, this also results in lower AdBlue consumption.

With a full hydrogen tank, the truck has a range of about 800 km, and if required, it can cover an additional 3,000 km on diesel.

Expert Training

All staff involved in hydrogen transport and delivery, including drivers, technicians and the planning department, receive continuous expert training and coaching. This ensures consistent performance, maximum safety and ongoing development of skills.
